Update: Dissy

I know I have left all of you faithful readers suspended in midair on the Sea Dragon for quite some time, so I thought I would inform you that Dissy is well. I delivered her to the doctors on Wednesday June 4th at my Dissertation Shower (I wanted all of my friends to be there for the e-delivery). The doctors will officially grant me permission to raise her for the next two years on June 18th, but not until they have peppered me with questions and I've defended myself for two hours. I am nervous about taking on such a big responsibility, but right now I'm mostly just happy to be off computer chair rest.
